How is ragi flour made?
The Ragi grains collected from the farm undergo a rigorous cleaning process, as they will be soaked in the dust while harvesting. The grains are cleaned in the water a few times. Initially, the water turns into black colour as the dust gets washed away.
The cleaning process continues until the water becomes white. Once the Ragi grains are cleaned and drained, it is dried under the sun. It is covered by two layers of pure cloth to prevent it from dust. The dried grains are then carefully fed into the mill to get healthy Ragi powder.
